My experience with Empower Chaplaincy has given me a significant advantage in ministering to my small community. In smaller towns, building relationships is crucial, and newcomers must work hard to earn trust and influence among residents. This can make moving to a small town for pastoral ministry particularly challenging.
The Empower Chaplaincy cohort equipped me to engage effectively with various stakeholders in my community and to extend our church’s ministry beyond its walls. It offered me opportunities to connect with community members and build relationships that have led to meaningful ministry. Additionally, the chaplaincy endorsement has added credibility to my work and opened doors to places I may not have been invited to otherwise. I am incredibly grateful for the community chaplaincy training I have received, and I highly recommend the Empower Chaplaincy program to any pastor looking to engage more deeply with their community.
