In the beginning, I was very skeptical of the chaplaincy course. but after a few meetings, I realized the program can be very beneficial for those who truly have a heart for people and desire to be a vessel for the Lord. Throughout the course Dr Harvey’s encouraged engagement toward our community and each other. The Springfield Immersion week was very helpful because within days I was presented with real-life circumstances and situations that Dr Harvey and others helped prepare me for. I am thankful for their heart and their effort and look forward to being a part of the community chaplaincy family.
